

Lisa Lewis is one of Los Angeles’s most respected creative directors. An award-winning Art Director whose visual storytelling has shaped the pages of Los Angeles Magazine, C Magazine, MasterClass, Robb Report, and more, Lisa brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of editorial excellence and brand strategy. She creates visual narratives that are as strategic as they are beautiful.
During her decade-plus tenure as Art Director at Los Angeles Magazine, the publication received the National Magazine Award for General Excellence. She was named Designer of the Year by the City and Regional Magazine Association, and her work has been recognised by the Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, and American Illustration. She has led creative campaigns for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Santa Monica Travel & Tourism, Gearys Beverly Hills, and Bodhi Tree.
At out of the bleu, Lisa leads creative direction and brand visual strategy—bringing the same meticulous editorial sensibility that shaped some of LA’s most iconic publications to the nonprofits and performing arts organisations we serve. Her eye for beauty is matched by her strategic discipline: every visual choice serves the story.
Lisa holds a BFA in Communication Design from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design, graduating cum laude.
